Theme #3: Coffee

Crap, crap, crap, I'm late! You thought, as you were sprinting at the sidewalk in the early morning. As much as possible, you avoided the thought of getting told off by your manager, Ludwig. It's not that you hate him, it's that he has the personality of an INTJ.

As you entered the coffee shop, you were relieved by the sight. It's only Gilbert and Elizabetha, your best friends who also work on the café. You sighed happily because Ludwig isn't here yet.

"Kesesese~ Good morning, (n/n)!" Elizabetha greeted you, quite cheerfully, grounding the coffee beans using a pestle and mortar, though there is a coffee grounder available in the cabinets. You wore your apron and walked towards the counter.

"Is Ludwig here yet?" You asked, it's surprising that at this time, Ludwig is nowhere to be seen. He always comes at opening time while his brother Gilbert comes to the café two hours after the opening.

Gilbert's face have a playful smirk. "Don't tell this to anyone...(y/n)..." He whispered, putting his finger at his lips. "But you see...bruder is running late at this time." You widened your eyes, almost surprised. Elizabetha looked at you two and started to giggle a bit.

"Yeah, but I suggest that you should make coffee for him as much as possible. I mean, if your brother is in a bad mood, he might destroy everything in the way..." Elizabetha stated. You instantly get the grounded coffee while Gilbert attended to the pastries.

There was a knock on the door, Ludwig groaned. This is the first time that he has been late than his brother, Gilbert. "Come in..." He stated, you entered holding a cappuccino in your hands.

"Sir, you like some coffee?" You questioned. Ludwig smiled and you laid the cup in the table, as usual he is doing paperwork and it's mostly about the expenses of the café.

"Hey, (y/n)..." He called, you turned around and looked at Ludwig. He is...blushing?!

"Wh-What is it, sir?" You replied, blushing too. You hate to admit it but you like Ludwig, but you are too scared to tell it, because you are always late at work and you're not good at serving customers, but that happen sometimes, right?

"Can we have coffee, just you and me?" He asked, on the outside you nod your head, saying that it is okay with you, but on the inside, you're fangirling so much that you can't even control your giggles after you exited his office. As you went back to the cashier, you can't help but smile all day. Elizabetha was of course puzzled at your actions.

It's been two weeks and you have feelings for Ludwig. You always felt happy and joyful, there is never a dull day, you sometimes break in giggles when there are no customers or when Elizabetha and Gilbert aren't looking.

Elizabetha knew what is going on with you and decided to ask you what is happening for the past few days, you told that her that you and Ludwig have been going out more often for coffee. She instantly squealed and she said that she supports your relationship with you two.

Another week later, Ludwig sent you a text message that he is going to meet you at the park at eight o'clock. You agreed and picked your dress that day, of course you picked a strapless, floral (f/c) dress that reaches to your knees and of course some black flats that matched your dress. You were so excited, your heart is beating fast, more like fluttering. You wondered what Ludwig will tell you.

After thanking Gilbert for the ride going to the park, you saw a beautiful garden full of flowers. You decided to enter because it reminded you of pavilions.

As you entered the garden, you saw a familiar figure holding a bunch of roses. It was Ludwig!

You ran up to him. "Hi, Ludwig!" You waved at him, Ludwig looked at you and smiled. "Hallo, (y/n)."

You noticed the flowers he was holding. "What are these for?" You asked. Ludwig instantly blushed and looked away at you in hesitation.

"U-Uh...(y-y/n)..." He muttered, searching for words as you looked at him with slight confusion. In an attempt to make the mood he kissed you. In the lips.

You were surprised for a moment, but you instantly gave in as you closed your eyes and enjoyed the night.

"Ich liebe dich...(n/n)..."
